MotorVacature: Head of B2B Sales CMSNL

Purpose of the Role:

As Head of Sales, you are responsible for expanding CMSNL’s international B2B customer network. This role focuses on defining and executing the B2B strategy, establishing a Key Account Management (KAM) team, leading the customer service function, and optimizing commercial processes. You will define revenue targets and be accountable for achieving them. In addition, this role acts as a bridge between sales, product management, marketing, and operations to create customer-driven assortments and fuel growth.

The Head of B2B Sales is a member of the CMS Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

B2B Revenue Targets, Strategy & Market Development

  • Develops and implements the international B2B strategy with a focus on sustainable growth.
  • Identifies market potential, trends, and growth opportunities, with a primary focus on the European market.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Builds and leads a new Key Account Management team focused on commercial performance.
  • Coaches, supports, and structures a result-driven internal and external sales team.

Key Account Management

  • Builds strong relationships with strategic B2B customers in both domestic and international markets.
  • Offers customer-focused solutions and translates client needs into commercially viable proposals.

Commercial Process Optimization

  • Structures and improves sales processes, reporting, and customer segmentation.
  • Ensures scalable operations within the B2B channel.

Product & Market Interface

  • Collaborates closely with product management to align assortments with B2B customer needs.
  • Provides customer insights to support assortment decisions and new product development initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Higher professional or academic working/thinking level (HBO+/University).
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or commercial team leadership.
  • Experience in the motorcycle industry, powersports, automotive, or technical e-commerce is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong commercial and strategic insight with a hands-on mentality.
  • Team player and builder: connects and leads people effectively.
  • Customer-focused and results-driven.
  • Language skills: fluent in Dutch and English; German or French is a plus.
