MotorVacature: Communication and PR Manager Ducati Benelux

Reporting to the Marketing and Communication Director of Ducati West Europe (France & Benelux) and as part of the brand’s conquest strategy and to further step up the Premium positioning of the Brand in the market, the Communication and PR Manager leads the overall Communication and PR activities and strategy for the Benelux Dealer network, in collaboration with the Benelux Events and Dealer Marketing Manager and an intern, and with the guidelines given by Ducati West Europe (France) and the HQ in Italy. This position is transversally linked to events and dealer marketing activation. A strong synchronization and collaboration with the operational Marketing team in Paris, France is also expected.

Tasks and responsibilities of the position:

Communication

Managing the online and offline channels (print, digital, website, community management, social media campaigns) and activations to ensure the premium positioning of the brand in the market and according to Ducati West Europe and HQ guidelines.

  • Print: define an annual plan on sector and non—sector magazines to promote the Ducati range.
  • Digital and social media campaigns: monitor the SEA performance with a dedicated agency + coordinate the communication/creation agency in line the targets to achieve and the highlights of the season by models. Take advantage of the French strategy and content to implement it locally. Apart from META, always investigate on new medias or digital specialized platform.
  • Website: have skills in Google Analytics and CMS management to ensure the smoothest clients path to get product information and generate webleads on the 2 local websites ducati.be and ducati.nl
  • Community management: driving the agency in charge of social media to build a coherent and strategic local editorial plan, considering the HQ best performances

Management of agencies: Brainstorm, briefings, budget management; in line with HO and France briefs to their own agencies, adapted to the Benelux markets. Managing the online and offline targeting strategy in collaboration with the Dealer Marketing manager also responsible of CRM: Use of Salesforce and PowerBi to manage lead analysis and the success ofthe communication campaigns. Monitoring KPI of campaigns and digital initiatives as well as Print adv + collaboration with the Dealer Marketing manager responsible of CRM to check the results and conversion on campaigns in Salesforce.

PR

Management of Press, ambassadors and influencer media. Building a strong relationship with the key stakeholders to ensure a strong earned visibility level, in order to upscale the premium perception of the brand.

Participating to the International Press launches, but also being able to setup own national press launches in the Belgium and Netherlands, in order to maximize visibility opportunities.

Managing and translating the International press releases but also writing and creating local Benelux press releases in order to maximize communication opportunities.

Ducati Clubs are also to be managed under the same logic of relationship. There are 6 in Benelux and follow an accreditation process through Salesforce that has to be closely managed with dealers and the Event and Dealer Marketing responsible.

Budget

Leading overall Benelux marketing budgets with the Events and Dealer Marketing Manager in order to be in line with the guidelines and targets from Ducati West Europe in France and HQ in Italy. Knowledge on SAP is a plus.

Profile:

You have a higher degree in Business or Communication management, and at least 2 years of experience in Marketing, digital communication or PR.

You are creative, rigorous, have an organizational talent and you take initiatives.

You have the organizational and communication skills required to manage a network of 21 dealers on 3 markets.

You have an interest for the motorcycle world but have ideas to open the world to non sector initiatives, media or collaboration.

You speak Dutch and French and have a good level of English that allows you to correspond with the HQ. French knowledge is strongly recommended for the contacts with the French office and Belgium dealers.

The position is based in Benelux according to the profile. Smartworking is allowed some days during the week according to where you’re based.
